Luckily I put this on my bed 5 days before its first test. There are usually from 2 to 5 dogs on my bed with me at night. Some one gave 1/2 a 'medical' brownie to the Vizla short hair of the bunch last night and she wet my bed and soaked 5 comforters, my sheets and of course the liner! (she's a huge dog - 100 pounds!). I freaked out because the mattress is one of those expensive memory foam beds. So I jumped up and ripped the bedding off. I expected the mattress would be ruined. Dry as a bone! Good job so far Luna. I'll keep you informed! But thanx for saving a very expensive mattress!

Our previous mattress had a full zippered cover, but the sheets were always slipping off on the plastic and the crinkling sound any time you moved was really annoying. When we got the new mattress we decided to try this pad and we haven't been disappointed. It feels like a regular mattress pad, doesn't sound plastic-y, and doesn't cause the sheets to slip and slide. I would recommend it highly for anyone who wants a protective but not annoying layer for their mattress.
